Schumacher, Kevin L.Kevin L. Schumacher, age 44, a resident of Kiel, passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at his residence while surrounded by family.Kevin was born on November 27, 1972 in Downey, CA to Dianne Knaack Schumacher and the late Albert Schumacher. He graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1991. Kevin went on to attend U.W. Green Bay from where he received his degree Environmental and City Planning, and then attended N.W.T.C. from where he received his degree in Energy Management. He had been employed as a welder in the Boom Shop at Manitowoc Cranes, and currently at Broadwind Energy. Kevin ran sound for Silent Illusion, Boom Candle, and Ravyn. He was always learning and had many hobbies including gardening, playing video games, reading, working outdoors, making things and tinkering with random projects. Above all, Kevin enjoyed doing all of these things with his family and friends.Survivors include Kevin's partner of many years and fiancée, Jessica Evenson, Kiel; mother, Dianne Schumacher, Clintonville; brother, Terry (Catherine) Schumacher, Two Rivers; two nieces, Sarah and Grace; grandmother, Doris Knaack, Clintonville; close friends in Brian Evenson and Dan Rush; also many aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Albert Schumacher; paternal grandparents, Bill and Delia Schumacher; and maternal grandfather, Delmar Knaack.The family will greet relatives and friends at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Burial will take place at Valder's West Cemetery at a later date.
