Kevin Paul Adamson passed away in Puyallup, WA on January 25th, 2009. A long time resident of Ellensburg, WA, Kevin was born on February 2nd, 1953 in Manchester, Connecticut. He graduated from Wheaton High School in Maryland in 1971. Kevin headed west to Washington State in 1979. Kevin spent many happy years raising his children with their mother Karen in Ellensburg. The pride and joys of his life were his children and his 1976 Triumph Bonneville motorcycle. He grew up enjoying summers on the Chesapeake Bay, and continued to enjoy the outdoors by exploring the northwest in the family camper. He also enjoyed attending sprint car races with his brother Victor, football, GTOs, John Hiatt's music, telling stories of farm life and a summer on a fishing boat, and a good dinner of potato chips and coffee ice cream. Kevin was an animal lover and his beloved dogs Bonnie and Venus were always by his side on their nightly walks. Kevin was preceded in death by father Victor Adamson Sr., mother Clare Adamson, Godson Chris Cooper, and niece Karen Adamson. Kevin is survived by his daughters Kristen Adamson of Seattle and Nikki Adamson, ex-wife Karen Martinis of Ellensburg, WA, brother Victor Adamson and wife Diana of Bonney Lake, WA, sister Elizabeth Clark of Columbia SC, sister Linda Murphy of Arizona, and brother Raymond Adamson of New York.
