ANGOLA — Kevin Post, age 56, of Angola, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2016, at Cameron Memorial Hospital of Angola, Indiana. Kevin was born on October 6, 1959, in Sturgis, Michigan. He graduated from Fremont High School in 1978. He worked delivering newspapers for the Herald Republican for many years, and also had worked for Sunrise Disposal. Kevin enjoyed watching football, and playing fantasy football. He loved spending time with his family, and loved his dogs, Abby Jo, and Daisy Mae. Survivors include his son, Chris (Chandal) Post of Angola, Indiana; daughters, Carla (Troy) Medford of Angola, Indiana, and Michelle (Scott) Blackburn of Fremont, Indiana; five grandchildren, Austin Post, Devin Post, Cailyn Post, Taylor Post, and Lorelai Blackburn; his brothers, John Blotter of LaGrange, Indiana, Randy (Beth) Blotter of Fremont, Indiana, and Tee (Suze) Blotter of Avilla, Indiana; and a sister, Mystie (Dave) Sage of Angola, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore B. "Ted" Blotter and Darlene "Kay" Zimmerman Weller. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, September 2, 2016, at Beams Funeral Home in Fremont, Indiana, with the Rev. Stephen Altman officiating.
