Kevin "Big Kev" Gladney, 69, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away on January 6, 2025, after a long and valiant battle with cancer.
Born on June 5, 1955, Kevin was known for his larger-than-life personality and his love for all things sports. Whether he was cheering on his favorite teams or trash-talking his opponents, Kevin always knew how to keep things entertaining.
After serving in the Army, Kevin settled down with his beloved wife, Gale, in 1990. Together, they raised four children - Tanisha, Michael, Xavion, and Keman - who all inherited their father's love for mischief and mayhem.
Kevin was also a proud grandfather to two grandchildren, who are sure to carry on his legacy of pranks and jokes.
Kevin will be remembered for his quick wit, infectious laughter, and unwavering loyalty to his friends and family. He may have left this world too soon, but his spirit will live on in the countless memories he created with those who knew and loved him.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in Kevin's honor. And remember, in the words of Big Kev himself, "Life's too short to be serious all the time - have a laugh, enjoy the ride, and make sure to leave 'em laughing when you go."
