Kialaya Polk, 13, of Hiawatha, Iowa, passed on May 12, 2023. Kialaya was born on May 25, 2009.Kialaya lovely Polk, a beloved daughter, sister, and friend who left us far too soon.
Kialaya's time with us was filled with warmth and light - traits that were perfectly exemplified by her smile, which shone as brightly as the sun.
Kialaya was a child of the goddess Oshun, a deity who embodies love, beauty, and fertility. In many ways, Kialaya exemplified these qualities herself; she was vibrant and full of life, with a spirit that radiated compassion and kindness to all those around her. She had a particular affinity for the flute, which she played with great skill and sensitivity - a testament to the depth of emotion that lay within her.
Though we mourn Kialaya's passing deeply, we cannot help but also celebrate the joy and love that she brought into the world. Her spirit will remain with us always, a reminder to cherish the life and beauty that we are given, and to share that same kindness and compassion with everyone we meet.
Kialaya, we will miss you dearly. But we know that your spirit lives on, shining like the sun and continuing to bring light and love to all those whose lives you touched. Rest in peace, dear girl.
