The Life of Kidwell Richardson

Kidwell Richardson, beloved husband, father, and community leader, passed away on October 7, 2024, in Dallas, Texas. He was born on March 15, 1939, in Allen Tx to the late Minnie Evans (Mother) and John Richardson (Father). He graduated from Allen High School in 1957.

Kidwell was known for his kind heart, generous spirit, and unwavering dedication to his family and friends. He was a pillar of strength and support for those in need, always willing to lend a helping hand or offer words of wisdom. His infectious smile and positive attitude brightened the lives of all who knew him.

Throughout his life, Kidwell was a devoted husband to his beloved wife of years, Bernice Pittman - Richardson, and a loving father to their three children, Ralph Pittman, Rhonda Scott - Richardson, and Neil Richardson. He cherished his role as a grandfather to his eight grandchildren Bill Scott Jr, Brandon Scott, Brittany Scott, Bradley Scott, Krystal Pittman, Tiffany Davis, Byron Richardson, Damien Richardson and twelve great grandchildren who brought him immense joy and fulfillment.

Professionally, Kidwell was a respected butcher, known for his hard work, integrity, and dedication to his craft. He built a successful career in the retail industry at The Dallas Packing House, where he was admired for his honesty and commitment to his clients.

Outside of work, Kidwell was deeply involved in his community, volunteering his time and resources to various charitable organizations and causes.

Kidwell will be dearly missed by all who knew him, but his memory will live on in the hearts of those he touched. His legacy of kindness, compassion, and service will continue to inspire others to make a difference in the world.

Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service in Kidwell's honor on October 12, 2024, at Thompson Chapel Baptist Church in Dallas Tx. In lieu of flowers, donations and proceedings will go to the family.

Rest in peace, Kidwell Richardson. You will always be remembered for the love and light you brought into the world.
