A real life superman

Kim James Worm

We pay tribute to Kim James Worm, a man of many roles: a devoted father, a skilled mechanic, a lover of nature, and a friend to all in need. Born on February 18, 1956, in Forsyth.his parents sampson and socorro, raised him and his two brothers in Hysham. And became a cherished and loved figure in Miles City, Kim’s life was a journey of love, resilience, and service.

Growing up he enjoyed working on the farm and after moving out on his own, Kim started Working as a devoted mechanic and later, as a sandblaster for the railroad.

Kim’s life was rich with the joy of his passions. As a young man he loved bowling and playing baseball as well as shooting pool. His hands, which repaired countless engines, also tended to his garden, casting life into both machines and the earth. His love for fishing brought him tranquility and companionship, as did the games of pool he shared with his son, Christopher, moments where father and son bonded over shared triumphs and laughter.

Kim’s generosity knew no bounds. Alongside his son christopher, he mowed lawns, hauled garbage, and was the first to offer a helping hand to pull member of the community out of the mud and snow after storms. These acts of kindness were the fibers of the community fabric Kim helped weave.

Despite facing a severe brain injury in 2010 and battling cancer in 2021, Kim’s resolve never faltered. His legacy is not defined by these challenges but by how he faced them with courage and continued to live a life full of love and service

Kim leaves behind a loving family, including his daughter kimberly, two sons Stephan and Christopher. Two brothers, Sam and Bill, and four adoring grandchildren Kael, Alicia, Talia and Taidree.. Each of them carries a piece of Kim’s legacy.

As we bid farewell to Kim, we celebrate a life that was as impactful as it was humble. His memory will continue to inspire and guide all who knew him.
