It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear friend and cherished community member, Kimberly Owens. Born on March 8, 1977, Kimberly lived an exuberant life filled with laughter, love, and a contagious zest for living.
Kimberly called Goldsboro, North Carolina, home, and she was a ray of sunshine in our tight-knit community. From her warm smiles to her infectious giggles, she had a way of brightening everyone's day. Whether you found her at the local coffee shop, cheering for her favorite sports teams, or volunteering at community events, Kimberly was always a vibrant presence.
She had a passion for spreading joy and positivity, and she touched the lives of many with her kindness. Kimberly never missed an opportunity to lend a helping hand, offering support to those in need or simply being a listening ear. Her compassion knew no bounds.
Kimberly was a lover of life's simple pleasures. She enjoyed exploring the beautiful beaches along North Carolina's coast, finding solace in the crashing waves and sandy shores. She had an unmistakable talent for nurturing plants, and her garden thrived under her loving care.
Known for her infectious laugh and witty sense of humor, Kimberly brightened every room she entered. Her joy was contagious, and she had a remarkable ability to find the silver lining in any situation. Be it a humorous anecdote, a clever joke, or a witty remark, she could always put a smile on our faces.
Kimberly's passing on July 28, 2023, has left a void in our lives that can never be filled. We will forever hold her laughter, kindness, and loving spirit in our hearts. Though we mourn, we also celebrate the beautiful memories she leaves behind and the profound impact she had on all of us.
In lieu of flowers, Kimberly's family kindly asks for donations to be made to the local animal shelter, as she was a devoted animal lover and rescue advocate.
As we bid farewell to our dear friend, let us remember Kimberly Owens as a shining light in our lives. May her spirit continue to inspire us to cherish every moment and spread love and laughter wherever we go. Rest in peace, dear Kimberly.
