Alexander of Macedon, 33, of Pella, Greece, passed on June 10, 323 BC. Alexander was born to Philip II Of Macedon, and Olympias, July 20, 356 BC in Pella, Central Macedonia. As a young boy, he had the good fortune of being taught by the great Greek philosopher, Aristotle. He married Parysatis II, Roxana, Stateira II in 324 BC–323 BC, 327 BC–323 BC, 324 BC–323 BC, and they lived together in Pella. Alexander served his country as a King starting at the age 18 (336 BC to 323 BC). As King, Alexander took his army on a series of campaigns taking kingdoms for ten years straight. After ten years Alexander's army told him they were going home with him or with or without him. On the way back home Alexander died in the palace of Nebuchadnezzar II in Babylon.

Alexander conquered many lands. These lands retained the influence of Greece. Some cities were founded by Alexander. Even today these cities remain important cultural places. Also, Alexander the Great is known as one of the most influential and powerful leaders. He conquered dynasties and created his own dynasty.

This Alexander the Great's sword he used in battle. This was used during the campaigns Alexander the Great took his army on. This sword's hilt is 24 karat gold and silver plated.
