Kippie "Kip" Joe GrandAda, OKKippie Joe Grand of Ada, OK passed away peacefully in his home on Sunday, February 26, 2017 with his loving brother Mikel, and sister-in-law Teresa present for his next journey. He was born on March 31, 1955 and was raised in Haskell, TX, resided in McAlester, OK for many years, and more recently resided in Ada, OK. He is survived by his mother Helen Jolene Grand; his three daughters Lauren Grand (Mikey), Shelby Monks (Matt) and Stormie Grand; grandchildren Addy Treannie, Skyler Monks, Grace Monks, brothers Mikel Grand (Teresa) and Cliff Grand; nieces and one nephew Misti French, Kylene Humphries (Rob), Genna-Jo Parker (Robbie), Dustan Grand (Beth) and many great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Alfred Eugene Grand and grandson Brayden Patrick Dowless.Kippie was loved by so many friends and family from all over Oklahoma and Texas. He was an electrician for Triple S Electric. Kippie had a great love for Baylor Football and ZZ Top. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, coin collecting, taking pictures and loved animals. He cherished his friends immensely and enjoyed many visits from them over the years. The family would like to give thanks to the following dedicated and passionate individuals for their support and assistance: The nursing staff of the OU Cancer Center, Mercy Cancer Center of Ada, the staff of Halo Hospice Center and most importantly Mikel and Teresa Grand for being his caregivers for the past six years, Danny Wainscott, Jackie and Cindy Young, Raymond and Dawn Rodella and Lana Bailey Parker.Pallbearers: Danny Wainscott, Bobby Reaves, Raymond Rodela, Lana Bailey Parker, Jackie Young and Forrest Mayfield. A Graveside service will be held at 1:00PM, Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Willow Cemetery, Haskell, TX, with Rev. Tony Grand officiating. Family and Friends will be gathering Friday, March 3, 2017 from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at
