Kobi Lee Walden, 31Indianapolis - Kobi Lee Walden, 31, of Indianapolis, died unexpectedly on May 1, 2017.He was born on August 14, 1985, in Muncie, Indiana, the son of Jacki Parks (Stonerock) and Kurt Walden.He was a loving son, amazing brother, adored uncle, Star Wars enthusiast and loyal friend.Kobi was a graduate of Monroe Central High School, class of 2004. He continued his education at Butler University. He thoroughly enjoyed skating on, Race City Rebels, Mens Roller derby Team, and loved all of his derby family. He was a talented musician who participated in the Indy Pride Band as often as he was able.Kobi is loved by many family members, mother and step-father Jacki and Chris Parks of St. Pete Beach, Florida. Sister Kala Klein (Walden), brother-in-law and friend, Casey Klein; three step brothers Vince, Mike and Jon Parks; nieces Abby, Adison, Analise and Ally of Albany; grandmother Janice Stonerock of Winchester; grandparents Lonna and Arthur Powell of Hohenwald, TN; grandparents Gary and Judy Walden of Hamilton, OH; Several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.Preceded in death by his father Kurt Walden, grandfather Lee Stonerock; great-grandparents Thelma and Marvin McCallister; uncle Kipp Walden and uncle Eric Walden.Funeral services for Kobi will be held on Monday, May 8, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at the Walker Funeral Home in Winchester with Pastor Danny Hines officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery southeast of Winchester.Friends and family may call on Sunday, May 7, 2017, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home as well as one hour prior to services on Monday.Walker Funeral Home in Winchester is entrusted with the arrangements.Online condolences may be made at
