Krissie A. Davidson (Smith) , 54, of Del City, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2022 after a long battle with chronic illness.
Krissie was born on August 10, 1968 to Connie Jean Smith and Elwood Smith Jr. Krissie spent most of her childhood “back home” in Lancaster, Ohio.
After moving to Oklahoma, She attended Putnam City High School. During high school she met her lifelong best friend,Jayne. Krissie began attending college where she met her first husband, Charles. They both shared a passion for rescuing dogs. They became great friends, which ultimately lead to their marriage and birth of their children Charlie and Molly. She was accepted into OSU-OKC, where, she completed an Associate's Degree in the Applied Science of Nursing. She worked many places as a Registered Nurse, but her favorite, was the Center of Family Love, in Okarche. She was a very compassionate person which showed in her work. Krissie made many friends during her career. One of those friends, Kim; she remained friends with, throughout the years.
Krissie married a second time and spent the next few years working and spending time with her husband (Jim) and family. In 2007, Krissie retired from nursing due to her health. Eventhusly she started dialysis, but, remained there for her family and friends. Krissie always had an ear to lend or shoulder to cry on during tough times.
Krissie was a great friend, daughter, sister, wife, nurse, and an incredible mother. She adored all things British and fell in love with every dog she saw. She exemplified the empathy and compassion that should be found in all nurses. And to her children, She was the magic that you find in Christmas.
Krissie has been preceded in death by her second husband, James Davidson, her grandparents, and many beloved dogs.
She is survived by her children; Charlie Barnett and Molly Barnett-Melton along with their spouses; Isabella Barnett and Darren Melton, her grandson; Jax Barnett, ex husband; Charles Barnett, mother; Connie Smith, brother; Shane Smith, father; Elwood Smith Jr., best friends; Jayne Shover and Kim Miskovsky, grand dogs; Maddux, Georgia, Wrecks and Sassy, and, most importantly, her beloved dogs; Churro, Wiener, Wally, and Bubba
