Kristie Zanders-Howard, a beloved resident of Dallas, Texas, tragically passed away on May 11, 2024, at the age of 49. Born on August 29, 1974, Kristie was a former New Orleans native. Born to the parent of Marie Zanders. In 1995 Kristie met the love of her life Anthony Jackson Sr in her early 20’s, it was love at first kiss! They welcomed their first bundle of joy in February 2004. Kristie enjoyed the feeling of being a mother. They welcomed their last child in March 2006 where their picture perfect family is complete. Kristie was a well known person especially in the Fischer projects where she spent most of her time hanging with her friends. She was known as “Crazy Kristie” Kristie didn’t mind giving you the what for when she felt like it! Kristie enjoyed phone conversations with friends and family her favorite punch line that will be cherished by many was “let me make you laugh.” Kristie lived a life full of passion and laughter. She studied at Delgado community college in New Orleans. She will always be remembered for her kind heart, infectious smile, and unwavering dedication to those she loved. She is proceeded in death by her late husband Aruthara Pushparaj, mother Marie Zanders, Daughter Antonisha Zanders and loving companion Anthony Jackson Sr. She leaves to cherish her beloved memories her husband Nolan Howard and children, (Anthonika Pushparaj, Anthony Jackson Jr, Bryan Zanders, Kentrell Zanders, William Zanders, Mervin Warmington) along with a gang of friends, family, grandchildren. Kristie had a zest for life that was truly inspirational, and she leaves behind a legacy of warmth and compassion that will be cherished by all who knew her. Though she may be gone, her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched. We will remember the love and compassion we share with Kristie. Thanks be to god.
