Kristie Kappel, 50, of Howell, Michigan, passed on August 19, 2022. Kristie was born on July 19, 1972.

She was a hard worker, an amazing mother to not only her 6 kids but to many others as well. She enjoyed spending her time with her family and friends, and was recently getting into traveling with her husband of 16 years. She had a knack for making plants thrive, making people around her laugh at all of her silly jokes, and just genuinely had a heart of gold. Her kids were her life, and to all that knew her, she was the heart of the family.

Kristie is survived by her husband William; her children Britney, TJ, Courtney, Zach, Savannah, Elizabeth. Her grandson Emmet, sister Connie and brother Jonathan. Followed by many aunts and uncles.

Kristie will be cremated as per her wishes and a memorial service will be held on Tuesday August 23, at the Countryside Free Methodist church, 912 W. Sanilac road Sandusky, MI. from 1-4 pm. The immediate family will then meet at the Downington Cemetery where she will be laid to rest next to her parents.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that all donations go to Kristies favorite charity, Save The Children.
