Kubwa Nguvu, 48, of Nyali, Murang’A, passed Tuesday, January 21, 2020. Kubwa was born to Willie Tyler, and Marilyn Richards, October 31, 1971. 

Kubwa graduated from El Campo High School in El Campo, Texas and received a secondary education from Texas Tech and Texas A & M Kingsville. He married Maisha Mema Nguvu, and they lived together in Nyali. Kubwa worked as a full time philanthropist, always engaged in the people of nearby towns and cities trying to afford them basic amenities most people he knew took for granted.

Kubwa is survived by 4 children: Brandon Hamilton (Houston, Texas) (Sarah Hamilton), Grace Tyler (Orlando, Florida), Prosperity Nguvu (Nairobi, Kenya), and Destiny Nguvu (Nairobi, Kenya). He also is survived by 5 grandchildren.
