La-Toyia Buchanon, born on March 6, 1978, in Alcoa, Tennessee, United States, passed away on August 1, 2024. She was married to Jerald Buchanon and together they had two children, Juliana and Jeane'. La-Toyia attended Alcoa High School and graduated in 1975. She furthered her education at Maryville College.

She leaves behind husband Jerald Buchanon, Daughters Juliana and Jeane' Buchanon, devoted Aunt Madge, cousins Redonna and Brittany Cox, best friend Angela McNear, and host of other family and friends.

She is proceeded in death by Mother, Pamela Regina Lundy, Father Ronnie Shade, Grandparents Brarbara and Leslie Lundy and in-laws J.D and Julia Buchanon.

La-Toyia will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for her family and friends. She had a passion for helping others in need and was actively involved in various community activities. La-Toyia was a devoted wife, mother, and friend, always putting the needs of others before her own.

Despite facing many challenges, she never lost her positive attitude and determination to live life to the fullest.

La-Toyia will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched with her kindness and love.
