Lagwenda Hayes, 76, of Dallas, Texas, passed Monday, June 24, 2019. Lagwenda was born to Alton Lee Terry, and Merle Burns Terry, January 03, 1943 in Dallas, Texas.

Lagwenda graduated from South Oak Cliff High School.

Lagwenda is survived by 1 child: Eric Hayes. She also is survived by 3 grandchildren: Kristopher Hayes , Alysha Hayes Pass and Grayson Hayes. Also survived by 3 siblings: Gerald Terry, Sonja Meldrum, and Wayne Terry.

Lagwenda Hayes was a loving mother and grandmother with a heart full of kindness and love. She was a beautiful person inside and out with a laugh that could brighten any room. Anyone who knew Lagwenda knows that she would give you the shirt off of her back, always putting others before herself. Lagwenda Hayes will be missed by many people and we will all see her again one day!
