Lalita Amin, 86, of Ahmedabad, Gujarat, passed Saturday, June 02, 2018, peacefully in her sleep. Lalita was born January 18, 1932, in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. She married Jashvantlal Amin in 1954, and they lived together in Ahmedabad. Lalita was a teacher who helped underprivileged communities learn and grow. She was a beacon of light in her community.

Lalita is survived by 4 children: Renuka Patel, Pravin Amin (Nayna Amin), Jyotsna Patel, and Jayesh Amin (Anju Amin). She also is survived by 8 grandchildren.
