Lamar Lee Gatlin Obituary

Aug 11, 2002 - Jun 07, 2023

This obituary is administered by:

A loving son, soon to be father, and caring friend that will be missed.

Lamar Gatlin, beloved son of Josie and Derrick Gatlin, was born on August 11, 2002 in Williamston, North Carolina. Sadly, he passed away on June 7, 2023 at the young age of 20.

Lamar was known for his infectious smile and his love for all things pizza. He was a talented musician and loved playing his guitar for anyone who would listen. He was a loyal friend and always went out of his way to make others feel loved and appreciated.

In his free time, Lamar enjoyed playing video games and binge-watching his favorite sitcoms. He was a true prankster and his family will never forget the time he replaced all the sugar in the house with salt!

Lamar graduated from Williamston High School in 2020 and went on to pursue a degree in music at the University of North Carolina. He always had a passion for music and dreamed of becoming a famous rockstar one day.

Although Lamar's life was cut short, he will always be remembered for his kind heart, his quirky sense of humor, and his love for pizza. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
