Peterson, LaMarr Darwin LaMarr Darwin Peterson of Scottsdale, AZ passed away on November 28, 2016. LaMarr was born on July 26, 1924 in Holdrege, NE. After school, LaMarr served in the US Navy for 4 1/2 years during WWII. Upon his return, LaMarr started a career as an automobile salesman. In 1956, LaMarr opened his own business, Town and Country Motors, which is still open today and operated by his two sons and granddaughter. He was a lifetime Elks Club member and enjoyed his summers in San Diego and frequent trips to Las Vegas. LaMarr was fortunate to be married to two wonderful women, Joy and Elinore. He was predeceased by both of his wives. LaMarr is survived by his two sons, Jim (Jennifer) and Bob (Sally); four grandchildren, Julie, Jodi, Mitchell, and Jason; one great-grandson, Britton; and his older sister, Colleen. Funeral services will be held on December 20 at 2:00 pm at Green Acres Mortuary & Cemetery, 401 N Hayden Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85257.
