On October 27, 1986, the same day the New York Mets won the World Series, God blessed this world with the life of Lance Price. On September 18, 2025, God called him home, where his spirit now rests in eternal peace.
Lance was laughter in human form. His humor, his silliness, and his warmth made him a joy to be around. He had a way of filling a room—not just with sound, but with life. His laughter was contagious, his presence unforgettable, and his love for family the anchor of who he was. People loved being around him, not only because he was funny and lighthearted, but because he was genuine, kind, and full of love.
He was a devoted son, a proud and loving father, and a protective big brother. To know him was to love him, and to love him was to be forever blessed.
Lance leaves behind a family whose hearts will carry him always: his mother, brother, sister, two daughters, and his girlfriend. Along with countless loved ones and friends who will never forget the joy he brought into their lives.
Though grief weighs heavy, we hold tightly to the promise of 2 Corinthians 5:8: “To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.” With faith, we rest assured that Lance has been welcomed into Heaven’s embrace, his laughter now ringing through eternal halls.
A Prayer for Healing
Lord, we thank You for the gift of Lance’s life, for the joy he gave and the love he poured into his family. As we grieve, wrap us in Your comfort and remind us that though our hearts ache, his spirit lives on with You. Heal our brokenness with the assurance that he is at peace, surrounded by Your glory. May the memories of his laughter be the light that carries us through, until the day we see him again. Amen.
Lance’s life was a melody of laughter, love, and family. Though the song feels silenced too soon, its music will never fade. His story continues in the lives he touched, the hearts he warmed, and the love he left behind.
