Laperta Erma Robson, age 90, of Clio, formerly of Oscoda, died on Sunday, Aug. 14, 2016. Laperta was born on Sept. 23, 1925 in Flint to the late Orville and Erma Baldwin (nee Mueller). Laperta served as a nurse in the Army during World War II and later worked as a nurse for Hurley Hospital for 15 years. She loved volunteering at schools, gardening, traveling, reading, canning, baking and most importantly, spending time with her children and all her grandchildren. Laperta is survived by her daughter-in-law, Patricia Robson; grandchildren, Angela (Michael) Thygesen and Herman Robert (Cheri) Robson; great grandchildren, Herman Skyler (Sara) Robson, Tristan Robson, Taylor Robson, Hunter Duncan, Shaley (Michael) Potes and Trisha Long; and great-great grandchildren, Emma Robson and MJ Potes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Robson; son, Herman S. Robson; and brother, Orville Baldwin. Visitation was held on Wednesday, Aug. 17 from 9 a.m. until the time of service beginning at 11 a.m. at Buresh Funeral Home in Oscoda. Interment followed the service in Oscoda Pinecrest Cemetery.
