Larry Edwards was born in Montgomery, Alabama September 9, 1946. Larry Edwards was a hard working man. He served in the US Army also he work with the city of Miami from there he work with Allen Smith for over 40 years until he retire, he loved playing chess as well as listening to his Motown music, and working on different projects around the house. Larry Edwards was a family man he made sure he spent time with his children as well as there cousins.

He leaves behind spouse of 43 years Zelena Gabriel, oldest Kimyarda Edwards, Larry Edwards Jr, Corey Edwards grandson Hashonni Lewis, siblings Harold Edwards, Patricia Edwards as well as a host of aunts, uncle , and cousins.
