Larry Houston was born February 20,1937 in Clarksdale, Arkansas to Johnnie & Obie Houston .He was the second oldest out six children.

Larry departed this life on Thursday, April 14, 2022. Larry worked for the Illinois Department of Transportation for 31 years and retired.

Larry was a very social person , who enjoyed life to the fullest. He loved restoring old school cars , going to car shows, love listening to the blues & spending time with family & friends .

  In his younger days he love to travel. As he got older a couple of his favorite things to say was , " I got alot of miles on me, God been good to me & I have my good days & bad days but I pushing and that he did. He had a good heart always willing to help someone if he could.

 He joins in glory : His father & mother Johnnie & Obie Houston, His siblings: James Houston ,Marion Houston and Johnnie Mae Houston . He leaves to cherish his memory: His 3 children Marion Houston (Angelita Houston), Mike Houston (Yulanda Walton) & Cynthia Houston, His siblings: Marva King & Milton Houston (Faye Houston) , His 6 grandchidren: Marion Houston Jr., Maurice Houston , Tania Houston , Ashley Houston , Mi-yelle Houston & Eric Chism Jr. , His 7 great-grandchildren: Che'marion Houston, Che'myla Houston, Adele Houston,Treyvon Houston, Max Houston , Zayne Houston, Mya McDonald. Host of nieces , nephews, cousins, family & friends.
