Larry Dean HarrisLogan - Larry Dean Harris … lover of babies and Pepsi … died in his home on March 18, 2015. Larry was born on Sept. 14, 1937 in Preston, Idaho to Ersel and Dayle Harris. The family later moved to Logan, Utah where he graduated from Logan High School in 1955. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Logan 2nd ward for 43 years. He served as a Scout Master and Cub Master, he served a stake mission and two work missions. His favorite calling was as a temple officiator and he was currently serving as a counselor in the High Priest Quorum. Larry retired from Autoliv in 2000. He also worked at Hill AFB, Thiokol, and was self-employed for most of his adult life with his own landscaping business. Larry was married to Bernice Mallory on Sept 18, 1959. He was the father of 7 children, one foster daughter and many other wayward and lost children who call him Dad. Larry was the very proud Grandfather of 21 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 4 grand puppies. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Bernice Mallory Harris. His 8 children; Kim (Randy) Singleton, Kirk (Laurie), Kevin (Cindy), Audrey (Emilio) Rosado, Keith (Kristie), Kelly Seipert, Kenton (Jennifer) and Kyler (Cheryl). He is also survived by 3 sisters and two brothers. Lucy Wallace, Clair Harris, Mildred Nielsen, Arlene (Sanford) Mallory, Danny (Polly) Harris. He was preceded in death by his Parents.The viewing will be held at Allen-Hall Mortuary Sunday March 22 from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 23 at the LDS Logan 1st & 2nd ward building 200 W 100 S Logan at 12 p.m. with a viewing prior to the service 10:30-11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Larry's name.
