Larry Dean Dearing, born on Feb. 23, 1937, in Ashton, Idaho, passed away on Sept. 2, 2016, in Deer Park, Wash., at the age of 79. His family moved in 1950 to Klamath Falls, where he attended Klamath Union High School, winning state championships in wrestling. He worked in the grocery business for many years and retired from Pacific Crest FCU. He loved hunting, fishing, playing golf, bowling, tennis and being in the outdoors. He is survived by his wife, Donna; children, Karlene of Tigard, Brenda Edgerton of Redmond, Jim and Kerry Neal of Lakewood, Wash., and Kevin and Millie Dearing of Klamath Falls; grandchildren, Adam Telle, Todd Telle, Lacey Stickel, Amanda Neal, Kameron Neal, Kyle Dearing, Tyler Dearing, and Tanner Dearing; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Lavon; brothers, Nolan and Bobby; sisters, Verenice and Earlene; his first wife, Nellie; and grandchild, Joshua Neal. He was a compassionate, caring person, who was loved by everyone who met him. His witty sense of humor was very contagious and could make anyone smile. He will be truly missed and remembered. A celebration of life will be held in Living Faith Fellowship, 4549 Homedale Road., on Nov. 12, 2016, at 2 p.m. Desserts will follow the service.
