Larry E. Galbreath, age 81, passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2015, at the Brookville Hospital. He was born on August 22, 1934, to the late Raymond and Lucille (Hoffman) Galbreath, in Brookville, PA. He has been married to Sylvia (Williams) Galbreath for almost 53 years, in a union that began on December 14, 1962. They were married in Jeanette, PA. Larry was a teacher for the Brookville Area School District for over 32 years. He also enjoyed his time as a blacksmith with a focus on being a farrier. He was a member of the Masonic Hobah Lodge 276, in Brookville PA, and he was a member of the Mid-Eastern Farriers Association. He served his country as a member of the United States Navy. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Gregg (Nadine) Galbreath, and Brad Galbreath; one sister, Sue Hepler; and two grandchildren, Shawn and Matthew Galbreath. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son Shawn Galbreath, who passed away in 1990, and his brother Charles Galbreath. Family and friends will be received on Thursday, September 3, 2015, from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the McKinney – d'Argy Funeral Home, 345 Main St., Brookville, PA, 15825. A funeral service for him will begin at 11am on Friday, September 4, 2015, at the Evangelical United Methodist Church, 30 White St., Brookville, PA, 15825. The Rev.
