Larry Kemper, 84, of Clear Lake, Texas, passed away on August 16, 2020. Larry was born on February 08, 1936 in Arkansas City, KS to Doyle and Margarite Kemper. He grew up on a farm and enjoyed hunting and fishing and rode his horse to school.
He went into the Air Force in 1956 and married Joanne Lewis February 5, 1956. He served in the Air Force for 20 years. Larry obtained his Bachelor\'s degree in Business while he was in the Air Force. Then he worked at Bendix for 12 years.
He is survived by his brother, Robert Kemper and his wife Trudy, his sister Janice Thornton, and her husband Delbert, his daughter Machell Kent. his daughter Sue Milam and her husband Roy, his son David Kemper and his wife Lili, his grandchildren Jimmy Kent and his wife Sheri, Jason Kent and his wife Andi, Leslie Folks, John Kent, Annie Sankey and her husband Jody, Jaclyn Hackathorn and her husband Josh, Kerri Milam, Kathi Hagood, Joshua Milam, Alec Kemper, Stephen Milam, Julia Kemper, and Laura Milam, and his great grandchildren Lexus Folks, Shaun Folks and Mackenzie Folks, Cameron, Caleb, Colin and Franki Kent, John David and Nicolas Kent, Wyatt, Dalton and Hunter Hackathorn, Lillian Milam.
We are thankful that he believed in Jesus as his Lord and Savior, and he is now in heaven. Funeral service will be October 2, 2020 at 2:00 at the Houston Memorial Cemetery. He will be honored with a gun salute and flag ceremony.
