LARRY JEANNERET

SPENCERVILLE — Larry Jeanneret 72, of Spencerville, went home to be with his Lord and Savior at 6:44 a.m., Thurs. November 10, 2016, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. He was born on March 19, 1944, in Lima, the oldest son of Mark F and Gladys (Widmark) Jeanneret who preceded him in death. In 1962, he married Melanie Heet, of Lakeview, OH, and she passed away in 1986. In 1987, he married Rebecca Schwartz from Spencerville, and she survives.

Larry is also survived by 9 children: Janis Jeanneret - St Marys, OH, Rhonda (Andy) Gump - Sidney, OH, Pamela (James) Wicker - St Marys, OH, Chené (Allen) Bridges - New Paris, OH, Monty (Tracy) Jeanneret - Wapakoneta, OH, Joseph Jeanneret - Wapakoneta, OH, Jennifer (Matthew) Leber - McHenry, IL, Brandi (Chet) Richardson - Spencerville,OH and Andy Mahon - Wapakoneta, OH. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren: Skyler, Steven, Casey, Melanie, Jaden, Krista, Brady, Leland, Hailey, Hannah, Zoey and Emma, and two aunts, Jane Plummer and Linda (Jim) Rice both of Lima OH.

A truck driver, Larry was a member of St Joseph Catholic Church, Wapakoneta. Larry enjoyed his family and loved to have cook-outs in the back yard with all gathered round. He was an avid fisherman and fished many of the lakes and ponds in the area. Larry was a huge Cleveland Browns fan, and also had many friends and loved to play cards with them.

Preceding him in death were 2 daughters, Jody and Jill Jeanneret and 3 brothers, Jerry, James and William Jeanneret.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 2:00 p.m., Mon. Nov. 14, 2016, at the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wapakoneta, with Rev. Sean Wilson officiating. Burial is to follow in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Wapakoneta. The family will receive friends 2-7 p.m., Sun. at the Long & Folk Chapel of Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home, 13 S.
