We are saddened to announce the passing of Larry Smith, who was born on February 9, 1952, in Chicago, Illinois, United States. He peacefully passed away on November 20, 2024. Larry was the beloved son of Larry Smith Sr and Emma Smith.

In 1990, Larry married the love of his life, Coraline Smith, and together they raised a beautiful family. Larry is survived by his loving spouse Coraline and their 10 children: Lisa Coleman (spouse Sean Coleman), Stacy Smith, Tracy Smith, Monique Sims, Maurice Smith, Jessica Smith, Olivia Smith, Nina Smith, Caria Smith, and Tillman Smith.

Larry was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He leaves behind 10 grandchildren to cherish his memory.

Larry attended Dunbar High School, where he pursued his education and graduated in 1965. He had a passion for music and DJing, which brought him joy throughout his life.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
