Larry Allen Peters1958 - 2014Larry Allen Peters, 55, passed away Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014, at Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa, Wis. He was born on May 14, 1958 in Junction City, Kansas the son of Robert A. Peters and Freda (Stahl) Bonk and Roger Bonk (Twin Lakes). Larry moved to the area in 1969 and attended and graduated from Wilmot Union High School in 1976. His first marriage was with Cheryl Rust and they had a son, Calvin Peters. Larry was united in marriage to Kristi Peth in 2006 and they had a daughter, Kaci Peters. Larry loved his children with all his heart. Larry was the owner of Southstate Drywall for 33 years and latter repaired and painted cars, snowplowed and bartended at Genes My Place. Larry enjoyed riding Skidoo snowmobiles, golfing, and riding Harley Davidson motorcycles. He was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan and LOVED corvettes! Larry was a guy that helped whenever someone called him. His favorite saying was Nothing but the best, the few, the proud; The Peters. Of course, we cannot forget his great sense of humor.His wife, Kristi and his two children survive him; Calvin and Kaci Peters; his mother, Freda (Roger) Bonk; father, Robert Peters; sister, Diane (Richard) Peters Wing; brother, Steve (Tracy) Peters and Aunt Ilse Radford and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.A celebration of Larrys life will be held on Friday, Feb. 7, 2014, at 6 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, W775 Geranium Rd. Pell Lake, WI. The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. until the time of services. Online condolences are available at Haaselockwoodfhs.com. The Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory of Twin Lakes, WI is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in memory of Larry Peters.
