Larry Williams, of Chesapeake, Virginia, transitioned on March 27, 2022.
Larry was born on February 14, 1958. He was the son of Mary Lee Harold Williams (Chesapeake, VA) & was predeceased by father, Calvin H Williams Sr. (Chesapeake, VA).
Larry was a man who lived his life on his own terms; a self-motivated innovator, entrepreneur & an expert in telecommunications wireless technology; with more than forty five (45) years of experience.
He was founder & CEO of Phoenix Data Communications Inc, Intelligent Illuminations Inc, Lightronics Inc, & the Managing Partner of IntelLuxCS, LLC.
He is the Inventor of the Intelligent Light Unit Monitoring Systems (iLUMSTM) and holds seventeen (17) United States patents for "lamp monitoring and control system & method," for which IntelLuxCS is licensed. IntelLuxCS, LLC therefore, bringing Mr. Williams experience and expertise to include, multiple streetlight modernization projects such as, LED replacements and intelligent street light control upgrades.
Mr. Williams other accomplishments include legacy photo-controller improvements, development of Patented Smart Controller design products, development of intelligent street light monitoring systems, and installation of thousands of luminaires across the United States.
Larry accepted Christ, as Lord & Savior in his adult life & was a willing servant to his church family (The United House of Prayer) in Virginia Beach, VA & other locations across the country. Larry used his talents & expertise to build up the churches infrastructure when it came to lighting & the safety of the church, from Washington DC to Seattle, Washington.
Larry is survived by, his loving daughter, Alexis L Williams. His beloved mother, Mary Lee Harold-Williams, Chesapeake, Va, brother, Calvin Williams (Sharon), Lyon, MI, sister, Cynthia Ragland, Tampa, FL & brother, Pierre Williams, Chesapeake, VA.
A host of cousins, nieces, nephews, Uncle & long life friends including dedicated business partners, board members & advisors.
Larry will take his rest now, all is well! He is resting in perfect peace with our Lord & Savior.
