Latasha Shanelle Seroy was born November 3,1972 in New York, NY to her proud parents, Robert Pernell and Michelle Seroy. She was the first born to them both.
Latasha had two children while living in New York, Inshirah and Diamond. Tasha moved her two daughters to Adel, Georgia, where she had two more children, Jasiah and her daughter Heaven who passed at birth.
Latasha moved back to NY for a bit where she had her last born KingJahlil Lyfe Land before moving back to Adel, GA with her children and soul mate Rodney “Boots” Land.
Tasha was a very loving, nurturing person and cared for everyone. She mothered for more than she gave birth to, which led to her being called mom by many other children. Latasha worked hard to keep her family grounded and on the right track. Latasha accepted God in the year 2000 and joined the Holy Community Church in Adel, GA where she attended religiously. She was a beautiful person with a contagious laugh and a VERY big heart. Tasha was a natural born jokester, she could find a joke in just about every situation, give Tasha two minutes and she would have you laughing at the top of your lungs. She was serious about keeping it real!! Tasha loved her music and to dance. She also loved to teach and nurture the children, her life goal was to open her own daycare so she could share her love and teach.
Latasha is preceded in death by one child, Heaven Turner, her brother Robert Derick Pernell, her maternal grandparents William and Mary Seroy, and the famous Mr. BB King, her grandfather. Also, her paternal grandparents Edward and Gloria Pernell, two aunts, Deborah Pernell and Mildred Salgado, an uncle, William Billy Seroy and Jon JJ Pernell.
Latasha leaves to mourn a great many people who loved her dearly, namely her children Inshirah Kaiser, Diamond Lonon, Jasiah Seroy, and KingJahlil Lyfe Land. Her parents Michelle Seroy and Robert Pernell. Her brother Levert Jarrell. Her grandchildren Haven Mills, Salih Seroy, Noah Joiner, True Joiner, Shanelle Coleman, Janyla Seroy, and Jacoby Seroy. Latasha leaves a host of family and friends as she was loved by everyone who met her.
Unfortunately, Latasha took her last breath on September 18th, 2024 at the age of 51 amongst her children, family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all.
