WAWAKA — Laura Mae Conner Cunningham, 43, of Wawaka, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2016. She was born on June 10,1972, in Goshen, Indiana, to Jerry and Linda (Reasoner) Conner. On Dec. 1, 1990, she married Jeff Cunningham; he survives. Laura was a 1990 graduate of West Noble High School. She was the co-owner of Crepe's bakery in Ligonier and worked at Parkview LaGrange Hospital. Laura loved life. She was a fun, loving, and carefree person. She enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews, flowers and cooking. She also loved her fur babies, Lilly and Ella. She is survived by her husband, Jeff Cunningham of Wawaka, Indiana; her parents, Jerry and Linda Conner of Kimmell, Indiana; a sister, Erica (Dan) Eames of Peru, Indiana; a grandmother, Margaret "Maggie" Conner of Ligonier; two nephews, Cody Eames and Casey Eames, both of Peru, Indiana; three nieces, Courtney (Jeremy) Appleton of Mexico, Indinaa, Chloey Eames of Peru, Indiana, and Stacy Mussleman of Wawaka, Indiana; her mother-in-law, Sondra Luke of Wawaka, Indiana; and a sister-in-law, Vickie (Mark) Musselman, of Wawaka, Indiana. A funeral service in Laura's honor will be held on Monday, Jan. 18, 2016, at 1 p.m. at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier. Pastor John Randolph will officiate. Burial will follow at Sparta Cemetery in Kimmell, Indiana. Family and friends will be received from 2-6 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 17, 2016, at Yeager Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial contributions be directed to Miami County 4-H Fairgrounds in care of The Fair Board, 1029 W.
