Laura Abney, 68, of Shreveport, Louisiana, passed away Monday, April 29, 2019. Laura was born to Leroy and Jean Abney on October 08, 1950 in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Laura graduated from Booker T. Washington High in 1968.
Laura is survived by 2 children: Tonya Smith, and Chanda Smith. She also is survived by 4 grandchildren, Chaterica Smith, Darius Duke, James Duke IV and Joseph Carmouche. She also leaves behind 4 great grandchildren, Ryan Richardson, Jazmyn Hart, Markell Hart Jr. and Jordan Duke. She was wonnderful mother, daughter, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She will truly be missed.
