It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Laura Jean Pritchard (44), who was born on December 31, 1981, in Louisville, Kentucky. She passed away on March 26, 2025, in Middletown, Ohio where she resided.

Laura was the beloved daughter of Gene Pritchard and Darlene (Pritchard) Clayton. She had three children, Elyssa Joy Pritchard (17), Gage Patrick (stillborn), and Devon (1) who is currently in foster care.

Laura attended Lakota West High School and graduated in 1999.

She was a vibrant, beautiful child, but experienced much heartbreak and sorrow during the last 15 years of her life. Her second baby was stillborn at 39 weeks gestation in 2009. She battled substance abuse and abusive relationships. But she was a fighter and survived breast cancer during this time.

Her unexpected death is currently under investigation and her family asks for privacy during this difficult time.
