Laura S. BurrMemphis, TNLaura S. Burr, was born on April 23, 1937 here in Memphis, TN. A graduate of Central High School, she also attended Memphis State University. She was a retired secretary. There will be a gathering for family and friends on Monday, April 24 beginning at one o'clock in the afternoon until a memorial celebration begins at two o'clock that afternoon. The service will be led by Memphis Funeral Home Celebrant Jonathan Matthews. Mrs. Burr was preceded in death by her parents and her husband James Philip "Buddy" Burr. She is survived by her two sons James Phillip "Bubba" Burr, Jr. (Molly) of Chattanooga, TN and Christopher Alan Burr of Memphis; two grandsons Thomas Winston Burr & Charles Franklin Burr and granddaughter Madyson Emma Burr.
