Laurence "Larry" Dean RodriguezSanta Paula, CAWith heavy hearts, we announce the unfortunate passing of our beloved Lawrence "Larry" Rodriguez. Larry entered Heaven's Gate on May 28, 2017 with his loving wife and his loyal companion "Lucky" by his side. Larry was born on July 30, 1963 to Ernest Pete Rodriguez and Doris Flynn in Ventura, CA.Larry is survived by his loving wife, Lorraine Rodriguez and they shared 33 years together in marriage; sons Frank Sigala III and Frankie Sigala IV; daughter Andryna Sigala; mother Doris Flynn; sisters Vickie Clark and Marlene Rodriguez; granddaughters Aleena and Ariana Sigala and numerous nieces and nephews. Larry is preceded in death by his father Ernest Pete Rodriguez and brother Ronnie Rodriguez.Larry was born and raised in Ventura. He was a very loving, kind and generous man, who helped anyone in need. He retired from the Saugus School District after working with them for 18 years. Larry enjoyed driving around town in his 1985 El Camino with his beloved "Lucky". You could always find Larry and Lucky at Steckle Park enjoying nature and listening to oldies. Larry was a very well known man who made friends anywhere he went. I would like to give a big thank you to the caring nurses at Livingston Memorial for all the loving support they gave Larry and I these past few weeks.Viewing is scheduled for Thursday, June 15, 2017 at Santa Clara Mortuary, 2370 North H Street, Oxnard CA 93036 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with the Rosary starting at 6:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at San Buenaventura Mission, 211 E. Main Street in Ventura on Friday, June 16, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park, 5400 Valentine Road, Ventura."Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal"
