YORK Laurie Ann (Kuykendall) Kepner, 53, formerly of Wellsville, passed away Friday, May 29, 2015. She was tragically taken as a result of domestic violence. She was born on September 17, 1961, daughter of Nancy L. (File) Kuykendall of Wellsville and the late Eugene E. Kuykendall. Most recently, she was employed by K & E Garage, Dover. She was a self-employed seamstress who through her sewing and alterations made many new friends and customers. Laurie was a good daughter, sister, aunt and she was always willing to help if needed. She will be missed by all. In addition to her mother, survivors include a brother, Michael E. Kuykendall and his wife, Lori; two sisters, Debra K. Jones and Karen L. Nordick and her husband, Robert, all of Wellsville; several nieces and nephews; additional relatives, aunts and uncles living in Florida and the Dillsburg area. Memorial service will be held 12 noon Thursday, June 4, 2015 at the LeRoy R. Leber Funeral Home, Inc., 2290 School St., York (Shiloh). Officiating will be Pastor Barry A. Stough of First Foundation Church, Dillsburg. Final resting place will be in Emanuel Cemetery, Lewisberry. There will be a visitation from 11 a.m. to 12 noon prior to the service at the funeral home. It's said God only takes the best and he got the best Angel of our lives. We will all miss her beautiful personality, cheery face and smile.
