Our dear mother Laurie Vanderkolk, 60, of Rockford, Illinois, passed on July 26, 2023 in her home. Laurie was born on March 03, 1963. She was a wonderful mother along with a golden heart she would give to anyone she loved and cared for she had a passion for her fur babies and would go above and beyond for her pets. Her self soother was her tunes and music her specific favorite song to sing was Amazing Grace. She enjoyed being outdoors an was very adventurous. Laurie's siblings gave her a significant nickname growing up and called her Oreo due to them not knowing how to pronounce her name correctly. She was loved by many friends along with family in the town of Rockford Illinois where she grew up at. She was predeceased by her mother Nancy and Father John Haberer. Following her deceased husband Joseph Vanderkolk, an grandmother Irene an grandfather Carl Haberer. And is survived by her six children Melissa, Rosalie, Gary, Sara, Rhiannon, an Kyla. Her Two siblings Christina and Amy. Services will be held private at 3:00 p.m. for immediate family, but an after memorial gathering is plan to happen at her daughter's house at 5:00 p.m. at this moment and rememberance of our beautiful mother any last words or donations towards her services will be greatly appreciated.
