Lavera Franklin, born on March 3, 1969, peacefully passed away on January 4, 2026, in Tucson, Arizona, United States. She was the beloved daughter of George Leonard and Shirley Nicholson.

Lavera is survived by her loving children: Mudiaga Mafemi, Onoerhime Mafemi, Tameaka Mafemi, and Elzina Franklin. She was also a cherished grandmother to four grandchildren.

She attended Amphitheater High School, where she graduated in 1987. She furthered her education at Strayer University and proudly graduated in 2025.

Lavera will be remembered for her kind heart, unwavering love for her family, and dedication to her education. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
