Weber, LaVern J.LaVern Weber, 87, passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 in the Emergency room at Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 9, 2017 at Christ Lutheran Church in Marshfield with Pastor Daryn Bahn officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until time of service on Friday at Christ Lutheran Church. Internment will be at Hillside Cemetary in Marshfield. Serving as pallbearer will be his grandson, Kevin Stini. Vern was born on July 20, 1929 to William and Ella (Werth) Weber in Marshfield. He attended Riverside School in the Town of McMillan. On June 11, 1949 he married Violet Mannigel at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in the Town of McMillan. They would have celebrated 68 years of marriage on Sunday. Vern worked at the Farmer's Co-op in Spencer until it's closure and at Landwehr Repair in Stratford and the Co-op in Marshfield until his retirement. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church. Vern is survived by his wife, Violet and their children, Linda (Vic) Stini of Marshfield, Lyle (Dawn) Weber of McFarland and Bonnie (Russ) Bruesewitz of Marshfield, his 4 grandchildren, Kevin (Tammy) Stini, Lori (Mike) Longhini, Sara (AJ) Rasmussen, Tara (Jeremy Chapman) Bruesewitz and his 5 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Delores Guden, Eugene Weber and Audrey Helsten. Vern was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Esther Luepke Schmoll.
