Hepner, LaVona Marie 61, of Wichita, KS, passed away Thursday, April 21, 2016, in Wichita. LaVona was born on December 15, 1954 in Seattle, WA, the daughter of Emil and Virginia Havel. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend to all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents; aunt and uncles, Ferne and Rudy Havel, Ray Havel, Bonnie King, Sonny King, Jack King; and many cousins. Survivors include her loving daughters, Stacy (Wes) Rogers of Mount Hope, KS, Tamber (companion Jason) Hepner of Wichita; grandchildren, Brandon Guilles of Wichita, Wesley and Vaughn Rogers of Mount Hope. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. with Funeral Services following at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 27, 2016, both at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E. 13th St. N., Wichita. Entombment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, Wichita. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market St., Wichita or Riverlawn Christian Church, 4243 N. Meridian Ave., Wichita.
