In Loving MemoryLaVora Tucker, 90, of Michigan City, Indiana, died from natural causes on Monday, January 30, in Valparaiso, Indiana. LaVora Mae Murray was born on July 26, 1927, in Altonah, Utah to James Wilmer and Anna Mary Winkler Murray, she moved with the family to Myton, Utah. She was preceded in death by her husband, John, who passed away on December 18th, 2001. She is survived by three brothers: Neil of Orem, UT; Dewey of Irrigon, OR; Jerry of Petaluma, CA. Brothers Deward and Darrell preceded her in death. She is also survived by five daughters: Kerstin Severin (Mark) of Reston VA; Shawna Monson (Calvin) of Chicago IL; Travis Gunnell (Steve) of Gilbert AZ; Stacy Andrew (Miles) of South Bend IN; and Mylese Tucker (Bruce Reyes) of Chesterton IN; 15 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Services are Saturday, February 4, at 12 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 402 E. Coolspring Ave., Michigan City IN. Family and friends to gather at 10 a.m. for a visitation.
