Schneider, Lawrence E. "Schnibble"Lawrence E. "Schnibbles" Schneider, age 88, passed away peacefully Saturday, June 10th, 2017 at Azura Memory Care, Manitowoc. He was born on June 13th, 1928 in the town of Meeme, son of the late Arno and Helen (Roidt) Schneider. On February 8th, 1958 Lawrence married the love of his life Shirley Ann Voss at Holy Trinity in School Hill. He was employed as a mechanic and driver at Discovery Charter Coaches in Sheboygan for 47 years. Lawrence enjoyed gardening, Sunday afternoon dancing and playing Sheepshead with a Kingsbury and his friends. Lawrence is survived by his loving wife of 59 years: Shirley Schneider; six children and their spouses: Sandra (Jack) Goodman, Shiocton, Nancy (Donald) Chrisianson, Valders, Billy (Penny) Schneider, Newton, Anthony (Sara) Schneider, Valders, Terry (Tammy) Schneider, De Pere, Susan (Brian) Labant, New Berlin, twelve grandchildren: Tammy Jo, Becky, Amy, Tim, Christopher, Jennifer, Kristin, Michelle, Heather, Tommy, Allison and Danny; ten great grandchildren: Phillip, Miranda, Lexus, Mercedes, Lois, Andy, Zoey, Jonathan, Morgan, Ryleigh; three siblings and their spouses: Dorothy Kutz, Manitowoc, Betty (Donald) Wallender, Two Rivers, MaryAnn (Anthony) Lipski, Manitowc; seven brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Mark Pupeter, Two Rivers, Delores Becker, Kiel, Dorothy Voss, Manitowoc, Donna Voss, TX, Margaret Voss, Manitowoc, Pat and Donald Gallagher, Manitowoc. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He is preceded in death by one grandson: David Schneider; three brothers: Francis Schneider, Norman (Bernice) Schneider, Sylvester (Arlene) Schneider; one sister: Agnes Pupeter; seven brothers-in-law: Elroy Becker, Frederick Voss, Robert (Carol) Voss, Wayne Voss, Orville (Elaine) Jeanty, Ronald Voss and Eugene Voss. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Community, Newton. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. David Beaudry with burial to follow at the Church Cemetery. The family will greet relatives and friends from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Community Church, Newton. The visitation will continue from 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Community, Newton.
