Glodowski, LawrenceLawrence "Larry" M. Glodoski, 81, Howard, passed away on November 2, 2016. He was born on August 10, 1935 in Amherst Junction, WI to the late Martin and JoHanna Glodoski. On April 27, 1957 he married Florence Smith at St. Boniface Church in De Pere. Larry was enlisted in the
Army as a Quarter Master from 1954 to 1956 and served in the
Korean War. He then worked for many years at Ft. Howard Paper Company. He also worked as a real estate agent from 1967 until his retirement in 2000. Larry was a member of Highland Crest Church where he was a Deacon and Sunday School teacher. He also was a Truck Stop Chaplain, Halleluiah Acres Health Minister and worked for Gideons International. Lawrence is survived by his wife, Florence; children, Timothy (Lori), Steven (Deanna), Patrick (Michelle), Jean Willis, Jane Janssen, Theresa (Michael) Vanderleest; 17 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; sisters, Doris Weisbrod, Florence Klismet and Elizabeth (Ray) Prezkuret; as well as many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Chester, Conrad, Myron and Carl.Visitation will be held on Friday, November 4, 2016 at Lyndahl Funeral Home, 1350 Lombardi Avenue, from 4:30pm until 6:30pm. Visitation will continue on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Highland Crest Baptist Church, 1830 S. Military Avenue, from 10:00am until the time of service at 11:00am with Rev. Chad Hertler officiating.
