Lawrence Pleasant, a beloved resident of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, passed away on October 30, 2024, at the age of 70. Born on November 15, 1954, Lawrence was known for his kind heart, quick wit, and infectious laughter. A pillar of the community, he dedicated his life to helping others and spreading joy wherever he went. Lawrence served 10 years in the navy, and retired as a Petty Officer Chief. Lawrence was honorably discharged. He loved his country he was a proud veteran. Lawrence will be remembered for his unwavering positivity, strong work ethic, and love for his city. He touched the lives of countless individuals and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Survivors include his two daughters Jada Pleasant, Lauren Pleasant and his son Brandon Spells. May he rest in peace. In remembrance of Laurence we will be doing a balloon release with the Pittsburg colors November 10, 2024.
