La’Tisha Heyward, beloved daughter of Jamal Heyward and Ro’Anne Heyward, was born on August 6, 1987 in Charleston, South Carolina. She peacefully passed away on February 18, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter.

La’Tisha attended West Ashley High School, where she graduated in 2007. She continued her education at Benedict College, graduating in 2011 with a degree she was proud of. She worked diligently at West Rock and also dedicated her time to helping others through the Samaritans Feet organization, where she was recognized as a sustainability leader.

When La’Tisha wasn’t working, she could be found indulging in her hobbies of reading, shopping, fishing, camping, and cruising. She had a zest for life and a contagious smile that brightened the days of all who knew her.

Although La’Tisha did not have any children of her own, she had a special place in the hearts of many. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Samaritans Feet in honor of La’Tisha’s memory.
