LC Riley, 70, passed on April 22, 2022. He was born to LC Riley and Ethel Riley in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on January 30, 1952. The family moved to Los Angeles, where he attended elementary school, and then to Phoenix, Arizona where he finished his education.
LC served his country in the Army and moved back to Los Angeles where he worked in construction. He later worked in transportation as a Fueler Supervisor for Patton Energy and Global Ground. My Pop loved helping people and could be counted on to be there when he was needed. He had a knack for taking things apart to find out they worked and putting them back together. He was a family man that spoiled his wife, daughter, and grandchildren.
He married Alphilia Calmese and they lived together in Inglewood, California. Together 37years they raised one child Nicole Jackson and doted on their three grandchildren: Ajay Mani, Samajay Mani, and Niya Mani.
LC Riley was preceded in death by his parents LC Riley and Ethel Riley, sisters, Carol Melton, Alaica R. Mitchell, Brothers Donald L. Riley, and Leland E. Riley.
He leaves to celebrate his life: his wife, his daughter, grandchildren, Aunt Gearlean Coachman, Sister Minnie, and Brothers: Luren Kenneth Riley, Carl Bernard Riley, and Lynn N. Riley, Cousins: Opal and Violet, and a host of nieces, nephews.
LC Riley was a great man and will be missed greatly.
