Ledressa Mosley was born on November 14, 1960, in Chicago, Illinois, to John and Regina Mosley. Ledressa's life was a testament to kindness, compassion, and unwavering love for her family and friends.
Ledressa's journey began at Corliss High School, where she received her education and laid the foundation for a life dedicated to serving others. After her journey at Corliss High School, Ledressa went on to obtain her Associate’s degree at Olive Harvey College, then went on to pursue her career as an educator. June 16, 1992 she gave birth to her one and only child Joshua Jones. She was an amazing mother and spoiled Joshua with tons of love and care, until his passing in 2021.
In her later years, Ledressa selflessly became the primary caregiver for her parents, John and Regina, as they navigated through life's challenges. Her commitment to their well-being exemplified her unconditional love and devotion to family. Those who had the privilege of knowing Ledressa will fondly remember her witty personality and incredible sense of humor. Her laughter was contagious, and her presence lit up any room she entered. Ledressa's kindness knew no bounds, and her genuine nature touched the lives of all who crossed her path. Shopping cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren brought her immense joy and fulfillment.
Ledressa's parents, along with her son, Joshua Jones, brother Delearn Jackson, and sisters Brenda, and Elaine, preceded her in death. Their memories will forever live on in her heart.
Ledressa's legacy of love extends to her surviving family members; her sister Bonetta Mosley, grandchildren, Kamariya Jones and Joshua Jones Jr., nephew Aaron Jackson, and nieces Leah Brown (Terrance) and Mariah Harper. Ledressa's impact was felt not only within her family circle but also in the community.
